David Burke

David Burke is the producer, co-creator, composer, and host of the television show HEY WORDY! where he plays the part of Dabblebee Dunn, a quirky wizard, fun-loving inventor, and wordsmith who teaches children about foreign languages and cultures through music, animation, and magic.

David, co-founder of Cosmic Toast Studios, is a performer of boundless energy, enthusiasm, and creativity. David is a writer, director, voice-over actor, and music composer for Cosmic Toast Studio's original content and for work-for-hire engagements.

Classically trained pianist and fluent in seven languages, David has served as an in-house composer for documentaries, commercials, and public service announcements used by the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee for the Summer Olympics.

David created the "Slangman" franchise, which teaches everyday slang, idioms, foreign languages, and cultures to his on-radio, on-TV, and online students around the world. His award-winning Slangman book series includes more than 60 titles and audio books. On the Voice Of America radio program, which reaches over 90 million international listeners in 120 countries, "Slangman" quickly became the slang/idioms expert.

David is thrilled to continue bringing HEY WORDY! to the masses through Cosmic Toast Studios. His lifelong passions are music, language, entertainment, acting, international cooking, fitness, and education.
